Using BioExplorer
Signals
BioExplorer uses the raw signals from your device, it does not use the software. The signal can be any biophysical signal from the supported devices, for example, EEG, HEG, GSR, muscle tension, heartrate.
BioExplorer allows you to choose among a variety of filters to apply to the signal and to select from the signal the bandwidths of interest. You are not limited by your devices filters.

Designs
You then create a “design” which specifies which aspects of these signals you want to train, and what kind of feedback you want to give, as well as how you want the signal displayed during training.
You can train ratios, percents, and comparisons between channels. You can train coherence, correlation, variability, and mean and dominant frequency.
The software allows you to combine signals with mathematical formula and train the result. Feeback can be based on multiple AND/OR/NOT conditions.
Each training session can be recorded and played back with any design, not just its own.
Feedback
In addition to tones and MIDI tones, feedback can be given from MP3's, DVD's, audio CD's, digital videos, and flash animations.
Data
A separate component of the software, BioReview, allows you to create statistical reports to view the results of each session, and to export the data to spreadsheets such as the TLC Assessment files.
