Neurodevelopment through Movements DVD
This DVD by Suzanne Day presents a program of 12 sequential movements that can be done with children who have learning and attention issues. The exercises can be done at home by dedicated parents or at school with committed teachers. These movements address the functions of the Central Nervous System (in the areas of visual, auditory, tactile, mobility, and language processing) that are normally put in place from birth to age 7 in order for the child to be an efficient learner with selective and sustained attention span.

These exercises take the body through the reflexes and movements the child should have been practicing since birth. Through these movements the brain is given a “second chance”. The DVD is 1 hr and 13 minutes. The first 30 minutes explains the neurology which provides the rationale for the exercises. The remainer of the DVD is detailed demonstration of how to do each movement. Day reports measurable EEG changes as a result of the exercises.

Suzanne Day is a Canadian Neuropsychologist registered in Québec and Alberta. Her career began with the research she and her husband did to help their son's learning disabilities.
