Neuroband

The Stoler Neuroband consists of a fully adjustable wrap-around velcro headband and velcro cross straps. The loop (softer) half of the velcro is on the inside. There is also a soft detachable chin strap, which will most often not be used. Electrodes and saline solution are not included.

Using the Neuroband with cup electrodes: The electrodes are inserted into a pocket which has chamois on one side, the side that touches the scalp; the other side is velcro, which attaches the pocket to the underside of the Neuroband. You soak the chamois in saline solution. Earclip electrodes can be attached conventionally with 10/20 paste or wrapped with saline soaked gauze (not included).

Using the Neuroband with snap-on electrodes: A chamois backed Meditrace electrode,which you have soaked in saline, is snapped into your snap-on lead. If you are using the ActivEEG electrodes, these have a velcro backing on the head which will attach them to the underside of the Neuroband. If you are using leads that do not come with velcro, you will have to purchase and attach velcro to the back of the lead head. Reference electrodes can be attached behind the ear with Meditrace adhesive electrodes (not included, Kendall reorder #31118733).
