Silver Electrodes

These are solid silver molded Ever-Last electrodes with high strength Kevlar lead wires, 4 feet. Each is warrantied for one year. The ear clip lead wires are joined together for most of their length, so the ear clips can be purchased only as a pair.

Because the electrodes are solid silver, there is no plating that can flake off (flaking renders an electrode useless). Molded electrodes are superior to the cheaper stamped versions, because the connection between electrode and lead wire is very stable and difficult to bend.

If you are ordering several electrodes we will do our best to send assorted colors.

For a two channel EEG device you will need one pair of ear clips (= 2 reference electrodes) and 3 scalp electrodes (2 actives and one ground). (You might also want to order a couple of spare scalp electrodes.)

For a 4 channel device, you will need one pair of ear clips and at least 5 scalp electrodes. This would give you 1 ground electrode and 4 actives, which would share the two ear clip reference electrodes. If you want any of your 4 channels to be bipolar (active and reference both on the scalp or forehead), you will need to order an additional scalp electrode for that channel.

You will also need NuPrep to prepare the skin, 10/20 paste to attach the electrodes, and a jumper to combine electrodes for various applications. These can be purchased in our Silver Electrodes StartUp Supplies Package.
