Snap-In Electrode StartUp Packages

Our starter packages contain everything you need to get started using your equipment, for 3 or more months.

We include snap-in style electrodes for skin placements and for hair placements. These can be used with the ActivEEG electrodes, or with the snap style lead wires (sold in Package 1 and 1A).

The Multi Bio Sensors (MBS Neurotrodes) are surrounded by a blue plastic ring and are for use in hair. Each MBS can be used 5-10 times before the finish will begin to wear off. They come with a pre-gelled sponge, but this can be removed and 10/20 paste used to attach them to the scalp.

We include two different adhesive, pre-gelled electrodes for use on skin. Both have excellent adhesion. The MVAP2s have more aggressive adhesion, while the Meditrace 133s may be more appropriate for younger trainees. You can try out both, and order replacements of one or both.

You do not need ear clips because the reference electrodes are normally attached behind the ear with the adhesive electrodes.

We also include a jumper, so that you can use linked-ear montages or make one lead wire the reference for two sites.

Even with the best hookups, your EEG recordings can be affected by electrical interference. You may want to purchase a Gauss meter to detect this. The Gauss Master/Dr. Gauss is effective and inexpensive.
