Pendant-HEG

Pendant-HEG by Minder Labs is lightweight unit that connects to an HEG headband. It sends the HEG (brain blood oxygenation) data to your computer via a wireless receiver that plugs into your computer's USB port. It has no training software, and requires software such as BioExplorer. If you do not already have BioExplorer, you will need to purchase it in order to run your HEG pendant.

The pendants work with 32-bit and 64-bit computers.

The pendants clip to your clothing and run on a single AAA battery within the case. The battery charger has a USB port into which you can plug the wireless receiver, if you need a line of site between pendant and receiver. The pendant now comes with self-installing drivers, which make setup a snap.

Along with the standard BioExplorer HEG designs (sent to you in an email), we also include in your package the advanced HEG AutoBaseline Training Design. Note: You will get an email with a link to download this design. Be sure to check your spam folder, if you don't get this email.

There are two versions of the Pendant, one for each of the available headbands.

•HEG pIR (passive Infrared HEG). Jeffrey Carmen's system, measures infrared temperature off the forehead. The headband holds a small sensing box against the forehead, it cannot be used where there is any significant hair.

•HEG nIR (near Infrared spectroscopy HEG). Hershel Toomin's system, measures oxygenation of cerebral blood flow. The headband contains an optical sender and sensor. It too is best used where there is little hair.
